GAMMA, HI-MAG

Both products supply Magnesium. GAMMA, with 6% Magnesium, 4% Calcium, and 10% P2O5, is used in general nutritional programs where quality results are paramount. A major use is on potatoes in combination with BETA. It is applied with ALPHA to increase yield and quality on green leafy vegetables and to improve fruit finish on apples, with SIGMA to enhance vigor, size, color, and sugar on berries. Other crops very responsive to Magnesium are alfalfa, mint, seed crops, artichokes, and ornamentals (especially roses).

HI-MAG, containing 20% Magnesium, is suggested where Magnesium levels are distinctly low and Mg is the major element of concern. When applying Mg, attention must also be paid to Calcium and Potash levels since these three nutrients exhibit mutual interactions. Another use for GAMMA and HI-MAG is for the prevention of grass tetany in grazing cattle.
