| TECH-SPRAY COBALT supplies the neglected and overlooked micronutrient, Cobalt, which is essential to both plant and animal nutrition. In plants, Cobalt is required as a component of the coenzyme, cobamide. In its functions, Cobalt is similar to, and assists, molybdenum in proper utilization of nitrogen. Cobalt levels in most plant tissues are undetectable. Recent work has shown that Cobalt, applied as a component in a well designed nutritional spray program, contibutes noticeably to quality factors such as color and size of fruit and berry crops. It has also been observed to influence fruit bud formation leading to improved set and yield in the season subsequent to application. In this respect, it is considered to play a significant role in reducing alternate year bearing patterns. | ||
